Wanted: circuit board for my 1969 4 speed or who may refurbish mine.
Looking for advice and/or purchase...my gas gauge & oil pressure gauge suddenly went out at the same time. My friend who is helping me is convinced it's a faulty circuit board. I was surprised to find they were not reproduced specifically for Olds 69 442's. (Aren't they reproduced for say a 69 ChevelleSS?)
Anyhow, my car is a 4 speed console, Am radio, no a/c, w/gauge package.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Circuit boards usually don't just go bad all of a sudden. It takes a major jolt or power surge to break or burn a trace. In almost every case, a board with a broken trace can be repaired. First thing to check is that the large round plug on the back is securely seated.

Most likely there are a few pins loose or broken off the board. I pulled one pin loose (and part of the circuit board trace with it) unplugging the connector from my Rally Pac. If your even the slightest bit comfortable with a soldering iron you can easily repair it. I removed all the pins (there were several loose) and replaced them with very small screws. I found the perfect size at a hobby shop. I fixed the broken circuit board trace with some small gauge wire. Or, as suggested, call Scott

Classic-olds is the greatest! I have followed all the collective wisdom and believe the problem is solved..loose pins, not the cardboard. I have had it repaired by someone on this site. Thanks to all!
