Help on 303 Olds

Help on 303 Olds
There is an extra hole on the timing chain cover on this 303 Oldsmobile. There is not a hole in the block for this so does a PLUG go in here or something. This may be a stupid question LOL. See photos attached. Thanks for any help. Top right hole! Plug?????

That's no big deal- that's where the freeze out/ frost plug should go
