First of all I would like to say what a great asset this website is. This page has helped me so many times.

Now to get to the nuts and bolts!!!

I took a part my door to paint it and now I seem to have one extra part!!! Where does this thing go? My I get a pic, diagram, something😝

Pretty sure that stops the window from going up too far.

Definately a window stop, check the other door since you only have one left over? There should be one just like it in the other door, see where it is.

Ok did some googling. Pretty sure according to Opgi it might be the

1970-72 Chevelle Hardware, Side Glass Door Window Glass Up Stop, Rear

of course for mine it's for the cutlass. Now I just need to figure out where to install

It's going to go back near the lock **** area and as you roll up the window you will see the part mounted on the window mechanism that hits your bracket. If you have not gotten it before tonight when I get home I will post a picture for you. Could not get to it yesterday.

It's not in my book but on my 72 it looks like they bolt to the window mechanism at the bottom and go up and down with the window. One in front one in back.

You should have two extra bolts and washers too.
