Sorry, not an Oldsmobile!

Came across a good pic when sorting out some boxes for moving. Long time ago. I'm the one in the Franco Harris jersey.

It was ours. I remember the turbo lights on the hood driving down the road.

Yeah, we had a wagon too, another Pontiac. Good times looking out the back window.

Looking out the back window??? You can't do that you'll get killed!!! No seat belts??? AHHHH! Gotta call the therapist, panic is setting in just thinking about that. Thank goodness the insurance companies convinced us we should never do that.

My sister came to town from Maddison, WI and the kids wanted a ride in my 71' conv't, she said the car was a "death trap". She forgot she used to be in the back of my mothers Pontiac Grand Safari wagon every time we went on the road and she's not currently a ghost or a statistic.

Thanks for sharing.

Very cool! What year was it? Maybe it had an Oldsmobile 403 in it?

The turbo cars were 301 Pontiacs.

Very cool that it was a turbo car. A premonition of the turbo Buick Grand National that GM did a few years later.

Yeah, unfortunately Turbo didn't mean "Turbo" performance on these.

Looked nice though. Late 70's/early 80's "muscle cars" aren't exactly in high demand due to their similar "performance" features.
