trying to figure out what cam is in my 1970 442 W-30 automatic. it for sure is a replacement cam i believe, it has casting numbers 401348 and shows a lavender colored paint stripe on it. not sure what brand or manufacture this is anybody have any ideas----thanks----Gregg

wheres the best place to purchase new exact reproduction 1970 W-30 auto camshaft and lifters--------------??

i understand what the stock cam is im trying to find out what cam it is i have listed here with the casting number 401348 and the lavender stripe it does not seem to be original to the car

The 401348 is the OEM "CASTING NUMBER" of the cam. Not the part number . In fact there are roughly 4 cam grinds that use this casting number. The Lavender color does not show in any of the Olds books i have for that casting number. Could always send it out to have it measured?
