Hello, I'm Burd, I'm a Pontiac guy but I have posted here on the Freedom Battery toppers that are in the works.
Being from The Detroit area I'm just a car guy, love the Cutlass and 442. I own and run a F Body Forum for the Firebirds and Camaros. I've always lived 5-10 min from Woodward, I did the Auto Shows for 25 years, when the Olsmobile was discontinued I couldn't believe it, the Displays were over at a competitor, HB Stubbs, I wish I would have grabbed some show lic plates, lol.
Then the GM Account came where I worked for around ten years, after the bailout it went down to Atlanta, at another display shop, shame, it's all gone from Detroit now.
I recieved another invite to go through the GM Heritage Center on June 13, I'll snap all the Old's there for you guys here, the last time I was there Gregg himself gave me and a buddy a personal tour, he worked with some of the people at my shop on diff things, there's a lot of cool stuff in the back room, there was a rolling chassis with an Old's Hemi on, plus cases of stuff.
Saturday was the Cars Inc show and open house, they are a Cheve Vendor here in the D, hers a few from that show. And the Inline Tube Show
I forgot to mention, that having the Olds 403 in the Trans Am, there is a friendship so to say, a buddy here in the D just put the Thorton Exhaust manifolds on his 78,
I also have an article from High Perf Pontiac , which now is gone on HOW TO TUNE THE 403,
I'll post there, might be something you might want to read.
Before the T/A, I had a 73 Olds Omega, 350 Rocket, hatchback, loved that car. I always wanted a 77 442, my auto shop teacher had a green/green one.
