New NHRA stocker suspension ???

Notice the bar facing in a downward direction in front of the rear tire.
I see quite a few stockers running this configuration. The looks like the bar is lower than the rim??

NHRA forbids any part of the suspension to hang down below the rim, specifically so that it can't ever touch the ground or dig in.

Cool car. Definitely has travel limiters on the front suspension.

AWSOME picture, C/SA has some heavy hitters. Jason Line also runs a 70 GS Stage 1. These guys must be friends. Probably a high dollar chassis even for stock eliminator.

I was told that he works on Jason Lines pro stock car.The chassis are stock except for bolt on traction devices.
The bar that hangs down is new to stock and many cars are running this set up. Just curious as to how it works and who manufactures them.
They look very low and close to the bottom of the rim height.

This car runs a Alf Wiebe suspension, notice no bar hanging down in front of the rear tire.
