How accurate are the Oldsmobile BBO & SBO main bearing saddles spaced from block to block? The question is directed toward bottom end supports and how much tolerance is built into them to allow for casting tolerance. Blocks can suffer from core shift in cylinders and the cam tunnel. Are the mains also vulnerable to core shift?

I’ve witnessed bolt misalignment but not really any difference in distance one saddle to the next.
