well as far as power Im thinking of at least 550hp to the wheels adj boost/waste gate for idle and max power. multi port efi as too a blow thru carb. using the 425 block, crank, alum heads ,crosswind manifold, forged pistons of about 9 1/2 to 1 maybe 10 to 1 . gapless rings , oil squirters to pistons , crank mods , and well as far as pipe plumbing there is lots of room in the starfire im just stuck on if it will be a turbo, supercharger or diesel with turbo , or an ls with turbo... which do you think would the cheapest to build ,give me the most power, last the longest , and the most mpg.........just tired of filling up bottles and if im a car chase with bikers and what not. trying to run me off the road to get my gas . it would be better to have non stop boost than an empty or cold nos bottle in that case lol..................

Scrap the 425 block, use a DX. A little more machining but much much stronger. Keep the 425 crank though.
I'd use Edelbrocks, a Victor, and 9.0:1. If you need help with the EFI let me know. If you plan on doing that anyway then I'd do it right away. That way you're not buying stuff twice.
