I used a cam very simular in a 355 SBO, ran well sounded great, I believe it will work for your application.
I prefer a 60811 or 60812 Hydrolic roller for better performance and power.
We also offer a custom WPE .842 Hydrolic roller lifter, WPE 3/8 cro-moly pushrods and Roller rocker in a kit to match. .02

I had that cam in a 10.25 to 1 355 and loved it. You could hear it but great manners and driveability. It should be great in a mild 455. Some say (Mark) that the steep ramps are hard on the valvetrain, perhaps true. And, a roller IS better, if you can afford it.
