65 Cutlass Chassis

I have a 1965 Cutlass 455 that I am building to eventually run in the 11's... I was wondering if the frame can handle that much torque
Has anyone done any frame strengthening or modifications?
Any help would be appreciated.

11's should be fine...depending on how deep you go into the 11's you may need a roll bar. NHRA requires one at 11.47 or quicker. You might also consider one if your car lifts the front wheels, you might wrinkle a quarter panel if you don't stiffen it up w/ a cage.
