4001 Harland Sharp roller rocker adjustment
I installed the roller rockers in my 455 olds. I read the Car Craft/Hotrod installation tips. I have adjusted solid lifters on motor cycles and a Datsun 1200cc car........................Oh I forgot a 850cc
Fiat Spider.
I get the idea of adjusting opposite of the lobe.
The manifold is out of the car with the spark plugs.
Harland Sharp Rockers #5001 with Mondello 9.8" lifters
Mondello 18-20 camshaft
When bringing the intake past the lobe (base circle#1 cyl.) tighten the outside nut until it bottoms against the rocker pivot. Tighten the inside hex head bolt until the contact with the pushrod.....................................
Turn 1/2 turn tighter......................................
Use the outer nut to tighten the hex head bolt.
Why does'nt this work???
Sorry to ask but I don't have confidence it was done right,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so I thought I would ask here
