HEY GUYS HERE IS A QUESTION THAT CAN ONLY BE ANSWERED BY SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD THIS POSSIBLY HAPPEN. i HAVE 1 TUBE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OVER THE FRAME BY MEASUREMENT IT FITS. THE PROBLEM IS WILL A 235 60 TIRE GROW BY BF GOODRICH BY THE WAY AND POSSIBLY UPON TURNING ETC CONTACT THAT TUBE. THE SPRINGS ARE STIFF AND I HAVE KYB SHOCKS BUT LOWERED ONE HALF INCH OVERALL.
Your clearance will depend on wheel back-space. I run that Header, but with M/T drag fronts on 4" Welds. Most probably when you make a hard left turn so that the back of the wheel/tire is closest to the Header tube that 60 series tire will be verrrry close.
Sorry i haven't experience with a wider tire.

yes the center section is even with the hub, I seriously hope that someone has had experience with these headers on the street and most of the time unless using nitrous i drive to the track. I do not want to find out on a long trip if i am going to have trouble so far with regular driving there seems to be no problems but you never know until it is to late with my luck.
hey 70wcars i have 1 more question for you on those headers. I lifted the brake lines for more air circulation but have you had any heat problems with your brake lines at all along the frame. jfb.
Nope, but my car is a strip only car so not much time for heat to build up. I just unbolted the Proportioning valve from the frame then bent the lines enough to give me air space between the Header and the Brake stuff. Didn't even re-bolt the Valve to the Frame, just let the brake lines suspend it. No issues in 6 years like this.

thanks for the info i bent the lines carefully when i installed the headers and lifted them above the tube for air flow the i put header gauze over the lines close to the tube this new combo will be a real shot in the a-- so to speak.
