Forgot to mention mine is a solid lifter cam. But it cruises with traffic about 3500 RPM. If I'm hauling *** then 4k.

How's the noise factor inside your cab? Long tube Comp Hooker Headers & 40 series Flowmaster @ 2.5" out the back with me.

Yes 355. I always state it as a .030 because people sometimes think it's a typo and might think I mean 455 lol. It's loud but I have the exhaust dumping under the rear seat. With good mufflers and tail pipes would not be bad

I noticed a difference between at the back axle pointing down and out the back this time around on noise factor. Thank you for taking the time

Interesting part about that Corvette race I found was mixed hp rating on that built "race car". 430hp (actually about 560hp) was one and another I found a few years back was (530hp).

Then there was the L88 engine that Chevrolet designed strictly for off-road use (racing), with a published rating of 430 hp (321 kW), but featured a high-capacity 4-barrel carb, aluminum heads, a unique air induction system, and an ultra-high compression ratio (12.5:1).

Found this trying to look at their design
