Need some 66 F85 stuff

I need a wiper switch and the pipe that comes out of the manifold and attaches to the choke coil on a 2 barrel carb. Also possibly a defroster duct, non ac car. I'm in 91351.

I could take the easy way out and swap a 4 barrel, almost did, but this thing is too nice and original. Sparky is gonna rebuild it for me.

Another thing I need is on the right front passenger side window track where the regulator roller rides in, mine rusted away and fell apart. The window is supposed to sit in the channel.

I have a 67 F-85 and I might have what you need.
But I am no expert on these years.
I can send pictures upon request

I know the wiper switch is different. Do you have a 2 barrel carb? Maybe you can get a pic of the right front door internals so I can see what you got? Has to be a 4 door.

Is it a 2 door hardtop or post? I might the window track stuff. You can get a choke tube new from OPGI for a 70 4 barrel and it will work fine with just a very mild tweak.

It's for my wagon. I was looking at the OPG catalog last night and was noticing how similar the choke tube looks to mine.

Just to verify that it's the right front door? Can you get it off the glass or will it be too much of a pain? If not, is the glass clear, not green tinted? And finally, how much shipped to 91351? Thanks!

I have never been able to separate the two pieces.

It was an a/c car so let me check the glass again to see if it is tinted or clear.

Passenger door
I can't remember which one I pulled the glass from. But I have both sides.

It appears to be clear glass in the pics, I just want to be sure.

Tom, it came in today and looks great, thanks again!

Erin, is the wiper switch for 2 speed wipers? Are the 1/4 F85 emblems in decent shape?

If you take a vacation in Vegas, you might look at the 66-7 stuff I have accumulated if you don't get all you need before then.

Did anybody ever find a source for the hot air tube for a 4-barrel intake manifold? The (factory correct?) 4-barrel manifold that I bought for my 1972 Vista Cruiser seems to have a different shape (1st picture) than the hot air tube that is in my 2 barrel manifold (2nd picture).

On the OPGI site I only found the version that I already had in my 2 barrel manifold. Were these hot air chokes so bad that they seem to mostly offer hot air to electric conversion kits?

Your first picture is of a manifold that takes the coil spring type choke. The carb is the hot air tube type and is incompatible with that manifold choke type. One or the other will have to be changed to mate up properly.

The "factory correct" intake that you show for your '72 350, is in fact for a '68-'69 350. These early intakes used a "divorced" choke, which had a coil mounted in the cavity shown in the picture and a rod that went up to the choke linkage. The later intakes have an actual "hole" in the crossover passage that is covered by a plate, with a bent tube that goes into the passage to pick up heat for the "choke stat", that is inside the black bakelite cover on the side. The heat is drawn in by a vacuum port in the carburetor.

Thanks guys. :-( It was sold to me as a 1972 manifold and the casting numbers matched those for a 1972 manifold on Rocketscience's thread about manifolds. https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...-thread-3.html
It looks like the casting number alone isn't what determines the identity of the manifold?...
