Oldsmobile 455

Hello Everyone,
I have a 68 Cutlass Supreme. I am looking of a street/ strip motor that runs off pump gas. I have a turbo 400 trans and a 3:91 posi rear end. I would like to run 11.5 -12.0 in the quarter mile. If you think you may have something that can help me out please let me know. Thank you to every one in advance for your time and consideration.

I ran that same combination in my '68 Cutlass bracket car for years; car ran consistent 12.0s. You need ~400 "actual" horsepower to run a 12.0 in a 3600 lb. car. With that gear and 28" x 9" slicks, you should be good to go. Where are you located? I have a 461" engine, with a Mondello hydraulic roller cam that would work fine for what you're after. Email me for details: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.
