Here is one (same P/N), but it look like it may need to be re-finished.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade here, but that part number 6458339 is not for the '70 RP Clock ****. That is correctly identified in the Ebay ad as the Speed Warning adjustment **** for '67-'70. The '70-'72 RP clock **** is 5657022.

The only reason I'm tuned into this is that I'm looking for a '67-'67 RP clock **** 6458026.

Man, you just have to appreciate the knowledge and effort going into finding these kind of things.

Makes us all which we spent more time in the junkyards in 1979 bagging all those "useless" items!!

By the way - i have no idea if my clock *** is for a 70 clock or not. I always assumed it was original. Hmmm what's the difference?

Thanks, Mark. I don't know what I was smoking, but I was out in the daisies. I looked back and saw that I was looking at the clocks, not the *****.
That said, and being more careful now, here is the real numbers.
Yes, the 6458339 is the correct part number for the '70 RP ****. It is also the correct one for the '67-'72 RP. I looked at Parts Catalogs back to'67 and confirmed it was that number all along. It is *also* the correct **** for the the'67-'70 Speed Warning adjustment.

So what are they supposed to look like (finish-wise)? The one in my '68 looks like the "face" is almost a copper color? (With concentric circles)

ive had a 68-9 and a 70-72..

70-72 are chrome as far as i know...if they get handled a bunch it would wear to the copper....they are flashed chrome..cheap..kinda dull..not real nice

the 68-9s ive seen look like the one on ebay...they are flat black...like black oxide

but i dont know if its right...and i know clock ***** where hot inventory..i mean hot,,the just fell off..ive bought a bunch of inventory and theres always a box of clock *****..always...never cutlass though..lol

my theory..and it just a theory...68 9 the center of the gauge is black..hence black ****

70-72 the center is silver...hence silver....

ive been watching ebay for some time and it seems to hold out...i dont know for sure..just observing

i havent seen enough 67s to know

it would take a few survivor type car owners to speak up
