Need Power Brake Booster 65 Jetstar 88 with manual transmission
Looking for a power brake booster for my 1965 Jetstar 88 with a 4-speed manual transmission. I am pretty sure that all 65-66 Olds full size cars with manual shift are the same. I found out the hard way that boosters from automatic cars do NOT fit. The booster hits the clutch rod where it comes out of the fire wall.
Any help much appreciated!

I tried calling junkyards using that car-part site years back when looking for a rear sway bar for my jetstar 1...usually when I called they'd tell me the car had been crushed...and often many years before. Maybe the database has been updated since those days....the front page of that site sure hasn't though.
I did find a swing pedal setup from a 65 j88 about ten years back from a place called roblins in Ontario. They still show the car on their website. Seems they started crushing a lot of their cars, and ten years is a piece of time. Never know though. I'm not sure if it even was a power brake car. It was a 3 on the tree. Roblins.net
As an epilogue I sold the swing pedal parts to a guy in Texas who ran ino the same issue with the booster when trying to convert his 66 starfire. He told me their WAS an interchange with a more common vehicle. Sadly I cannot recall it though. Guy lived in Dallas to area, sadly can't recall his name for certain. But you might be able to visually identify an interchange based on the bracket.
On edit: guy in Dallas area who may know the booster interchange was Paul Willis

Here's one for sale on EBay; you have to buy the whole car though. Prolly not a bad price to get the rare 4 speed parts alone.
