TH350 Transmission

I'm looking for a TH350 transmission to replace my 2 speed Jetaway in a 67 Cutlass. Hopefully something local to me and in good condition that I could just drop in my car.

I am about 20 miles north of Nashville, TN.

Craigslist will be a friend here.
BOP bellhousing.
It is a straight bolt-in. But you
will have to rig up something for
your detent cable. (kickdown)

And you'll need a torque converter.

$950 is more than I wanted to spend. Craigslist has not been my friend lately...lol. I got a PM from someone who has one but not sure condition. Sounds like a good core at a minimum but may work for a while. If I can"t find anything else I may go with that.

I got one I rebuilt pay what it cost me in parts and it's yours plus shipping. I haven't installed it yet . This was my first rebuild so in case if it does not work the hard work is done probably something dumb. But you will get all new parts. 225 for the rebuild kit and 175 for the converter. Shipping through fastenal should be cheap. I machined the pistons to hold 5 clutches , I have not installed a kick down cable as I did not intend to run one. It has a shift kit it as well. I can also probably meet you somewhere in indiana for cost of fuel if need be probably cheaper than shipping.

I have one from a 72 Cutlass that worked when pulled. No guarantees but if you can pick it up in Brazil Indiana I would let you have it for $50. I would sure think you could find one local?

Just going to throw out ... $800 for a professionally rebuilt trans is usually the buddy price around here. Add $150 for the TC and you're right there without considering the shift kit. As Copper posted ... his home rebuild was $400 in parts alone. Just a nod to Mr. Wise.

If this was built to handle
the trq of a BB, it doesn't
GET any better. But of course,
that is the question. The upgrades
start adding up. Still sounds like a deal.
