72 442 power seat cables

Need the power seat cables for a '72 442. Motor runs just doesn't move the seat. Thanks Mark

Have you had the transmission apart? many times the transmission is gummed up and needs cleaned and new grease. If the cable is broke this could also be what broke it. I have rebuild several of them now and all are like i mentioned.

Is there a good thread on power seat motors? I finally looked at my power seat today ('72 Cutlass Supreme, bucket seats) and noticed that the cable is sticking out the back of the seat. It rotates when the switch is activated, just not sure where it goes?? It will tilt if there is no weight on the seat but won't move forward or backward.

I haven't been able to find much about it...parts diagrams, rebuild instructions, etc... Thanks
