Brake Drums 1957 Oldsmobile

Hello!

Where can I get NEW or NOS front and rear brake drums for 1957 Oldsmobile?
Last year I buyed at Fusick rear drums, but the quality was not good.

Thanks for Feedback!!!

PS: Is better when I make a disc brak conversion at the front?

I probably have a set on a parts car, unsure of the condition. Where are you located? Shipping would be a killer!!!!

They still on the car, it'll be this weekend before I can go pull them off and check them. They're on this car, it's in storage, it's a roller but I have no idea of the condition. Will advise.

You could also try Kanter for new drums http://www.kanter.com//catalog/produ...0&Cat=6&Prc=35

Or convert to disc brakes from scarebird. I converted to front and rear disc's on my 57. It does require changing to 15" wheels and a fire wall mounted dual master cylinder and brake booster which might be more then you want to tackle at this time http://www.scarebird.com/

Hey christl, I pulled the driver side hubs, they're trash, rear has a chunk broken out and the front was grooved beyond being a core!! Can't get to the pass side without moving the rig, which ain't easy. Sorry!!! If I run across any, I'll let you know.
