400 or 455 motor and heads for a 69' 442

lookin for a 400 or 455 motor...short block, Long block, complete motor...My 69' 400 has too many cracks from freeze damage to repair.

Both heads are cracked through the exhaust valve seat to the exhast manifold surface. Lookin for 'E' or 'C' heads preferably complete and servicable without having to do a valve job.

If you have a reason to travel South I've got extra 455's complete, bare blocks and loose heads to choose from. But I'm down near the Oregon/California border, so it wouldn't be worth it unless you were coming this way already. There are several members in Western Washington state, hopefully one can help you out. You can also watch Craigslist closely, and don't pass up a boat motor. They'll work just fine and typically come with a manual transmission flywheel that's never had a clutch on it

I have a 400 block which was originally in my '69 442. I rebuilt the motor in '87/88, and it was taken out of the car in '00/01 (still running fine). It was disassembled & cleaned and I have all the parts in boxes. I'm located in So. Calif, so that might be too far depending on what you want to do. Send me a PM if you're interested and I can give you more details. I'll attach some pics for now. Thanks, John.
