That's a great idea! They're pretty pricey new. Have you checked any rubber stamp co's near you to see what they'd charge to do that?

Here's what I'm planning to do for my car:
Determine font and size. (I already know what letters/numbers I need)
print the pattern on my printer.
trim and glue it to an old bike inner tube
Cut with exacto knife.
Glue to a small block
buy some testors color paint and go crazy on the firewall.

Inline Tube has these.

Heres the link:

http://www.inlinetube.com/PDF%20cata...alog-index.htm

Its on pages 1-10 of their catalogue on this page.

I want one as well...I need the C-2 stamp so if your planning on buying that one - ill buy it from you after!!!

Theres a few others on here looking to buy the stamp as well...seems like a waste to buy it and use it once tho......

Guys, get in touch with costpenn too. He was looking for these and would probably go in with you on the price sharing?

The total price for the 4 stampings would be about 96.00. I was hoping someone might already have a set, but if not, I'll buy them and have available to either sell or rent out. Thanks!

I think I would just make a set similar to what was suggested before spending 100 bucks on stampers. And keep in mind, if the finished stamp is nice, neat, even, and well defined, it will look unoriginal...

I'll turn it into a 'project' and post the results.

Naw, if they turn out I'll share with whoever wants it. Then it can make the rounds. If it turns out really good? I'll custom make you one of your choice, ok? I'm not going to try to make the stamp pads for the hoses or other parts though.

Allen, how about I buy the gas tank ones, use them and then send to you if you'll make me up the firewall ones?

Steven - that would be great. Let me know which you you have - either the "Insp. O.K." with a number, or the "Inspector" and a number and I'll order the other one and be glad to send you that one back as well. Allan's looking to use the set as well - we'll establish the CO Stamp Coop
