Are you guys searching for the "Holy Grail" too!!
Good Luck with that!
I knew a guy that took his engine assy to a shop to get balanced and when he went to pick it up the balancer somehow mysteriously shrunk and got a lot smaller!! The guy had to sue him and take the guy to court to get his balacer back!! It turned out that he had sold it to someone out west somewhere and the court made them retrieve it and return it! Now - thats a scarce part!!!

I do believe I could sell the intake, carb, hood and balancer for more than the entire car is worth. What a shame!

not to be nosy but what is the price range of a W-31 balancer when you find one? also, is there a difference between the 69 and 70 balancer? date casting or anything?

The one i mentioned in my above post had been sold for $800 after it had been ripped off from my friend by the balance shop worker! And that was at least 4 yrs ago!!

dick miller was supposed to repop them. he was waiting for a foundry that would run off a small amount of about 50 of them.
