olds 455 04B intake
Those are decent intakes. The only problem is that you can't run an HEI distributor while using an O4B intake manifold. Instead of running HEI you can run a Pertronix conversion in your original points distributor.

I've run an O4B for the last five years and like it, but there are a couple things to keep in mind.
The points distributor could NOT be installed until i removed some material from the runner and the distributor cap. I wasn't sure how deep i could go on the runner so i just grinded from runner and cap.
Also, for those who have a/c, the threaded hole on the O4B doesn't line up with the a/c bracket hole.
Finally, Pertronix isn't the only game in town. I use the Crane XR-i which also has a rev limiter, and it has worked flawlessly.

That's exactly what I'm planning to do when I eventually pick up a nice O4B. I want to remove the Performer, Edelbrock carb, HEI and open element air cleaner that are on my car now and go back to its stock dual snorkel air cleaner, QJet, O4B and original distributor w/Pertronix. Hopefully this winter!
