I have one from a '66 98. I don't know if they are the same. I could post a picture if you like. Bruce

Couple of questions:
1. Is this the switch for forced air defogger or the electric rear defog on glass?
2. Is the switch located by the AC fan control, or is it a black 3 position rocker switch?

Can you post a pic of the old one? It would be a real help.

It's for the forced air type that blows on the back window

The switch is on the A/C control nextto the fan switch

I have an OEM used switch for the A/C control. Can you post a pic of the back of your switch? I don't know if the connection for the regular fan switch would work for the defroster. As you know the AC switch is 4 position, but if it can be used by just bypassing 1 terminal....??? I know I have 2 faceplates buried in a box somewhere with electric defogger units in them, but I think they are the 2 position on/off switches. If I can dig them out, I'll post the results. Haven't tested them so it might be a crapshoot either way.
