I have a problem with the switch light stayin on even when the car is turned off. It never did that before pullin the motor or disconnectin the a/c.

Where could this short possibly be!!!? Or, what seems to be the reason for this?

I would check the relay on the firewall. If you pulled the motor, there's a chance the relay or its wiring got damaged in the process. If that's the problem, the relays are easy to find as they are used in tons of cars and reproduced. If you have the service manual, that's a great resource in diagnosing just about everything.
