Edelbrock 7111

Looking for a decent 7111 manifold for my 350. Let me know what you’ve got. Looks it should fit under the stock 71 supreme hood. And yes the engines being built to make good use of it..

thanks!

Yes, it will fit under a stock hood - I run one on my 350 with a QuickFuel 780 carb with an approximate 1/2" spacer under it

Anyone ever tried one of these? Looks like the edelbrock 7111 but marketed through JGhyperX store on Amazon. Same specs and no edelbrock logos which would make paint to match with the engine easy.. link below. Also looks like the heat crossover is modified underneath for roller lifter clearance..? Thoughts on the manifold would be great.. thanks

Amazon Amazon

Think of it this way - How much are you investing in your motor that would justify saving $160 on an unknown quality 7111 knock-off (which interestingly advertises under the same Edelbrock part number (EDL-7111)?

I'd stick with the E-brock unless anyone else posts direct experience with the Amazon part

I appreciate the response, however it doesn’t really answer the question. That said, I understand what you’re saying. Was just curious if anyone had some experience with it. So many parts these days are simply relabeled items from other manufacturers and you never know exactly who manufactured it. They had some decent reviews for other intakes and some for their 455 manifolds that I found elsewhere. I don’t skimp on engine parts. Do it once and do it right.

Hopefully someone with direct familiarity will weigh in but yeah, there are deals to be had on parts whose origins can be affirmed. For me, the thought of how much work and/or additional cost it takes to undo a mistake typically guides my judgment. on what to start with, even as much I appreciate the few times I actually have scored major savings on a successful chance part selection.

I especially like the way they show "their" results using a MUSI 555 cu. in. BIG BLOCK CHEVY engine graph!
