64 Cutlass Water Pump

Hi,
I am looking for a 64 Cutlass Water Pump.
The one on my car is starting to go. Can only find rebuilt ones on ebay that they want a fortune for.
'64 is a one off year for these.
You can email me at rickrecco@gmail.com
Thanks
Rick

The pump in that link is for the Buick V6, which was optional in the 1964-65 Cutlii. It will NOT fit a 330.
(and yes, I do realize that the Cutlii all came with 330 motors, only the F85s got the Buford V6)

I had a feeling there might be an issue based on the price. Of course I already bought it.
Now I will have to get a refund.
Thanks for the info Joe.

I was able to get the refund before they sent out the water pump.
So still looking for one.

I've got some cores up in Medford Oregon. I know there's a shop that rebuilds water pumps in a neighboring town. I don't know how long it would take him to schedule a rebuild, but I could check if you'd like. Or I could give you the link to his business if you'd like to inquire for yourself. John

Hi,
I already saw that place online and spoke with them. They charge $129 or $139 for the rebuild depending on the size, Plus another $17 shippping each way.
How much would you want for a core? Maybe I can pay you to ship it to them. (or I could pull mine and ship)
Not a huge hurry here as my pump only has slight play in the hub and I don't drive it that much. Let me know.
I would probably prefer to buy one that is ready to go. But price and availability would determine that
Thanks

I found a place here in L.A. that can rebuild my pump. You would think there would be a lot of these places around here but I only found one .They charge, they say around $120 and can do it from within a couple of hours to a day.
So I will most likely go this route.
Thanks for the suggestions.

That is a very good price for a water pump rebuild. Be certain before you settle up they have the pump at the correct height for your application.

We live in a disposable society. I'm surprised you found ONE.
