1970 driver side rear quarter partial wanted

Looking to see if anyone has a repop or factory partial quarter panel to fix this 1970 442 wheel well area? I ordered from autobody specialty she called me and said they haven’t had it in five or six months, does not know when they will get it. She told me they got their products from Golden star and cheese called them and they’re out of them and have been for months so doesn’t seem to be a resource for that item right now. I don’t need a whole quarter I just need that area that you see and behind it on the lower it looks like. Let me know if you can help me out

I was unaware that they made a partial quarter any longer.
Do you have a part number? I may need one and am in no hurry

I have been told by reliable folks that opposite corner wheel arches are the same. So if you have a PS front section like this it should work. Steve

By partiaI I mean it’s the same one they’ve always made, doesn’t go up into the sail panel. They all have the same ones just nobody has any in stock and they don’t seem to be thinking they’re gonna get any for a while. You can look on Olds Parts, you can look on autobody specialties, you can look on Golden star, all the same

I have heard that, on 1970 the front fender on one side may fit the rear quarter panel on the back but you had to manipulate it but I have never heard from anybody that actually did it. And I don’t have a front fender either so either way I still need a piece

The image is of a '68-'69, which probably will work; not the same for '70-'72.

this is a '70 RF fender, without the "crumple zone" on the inside. just showing that yes, it's different than '68 - '69

I wasn't inferring that the 68-69 would work just that if a 70 did work a section similar might be easier to find.

Thank you, yea I am going to make a template out of my front fender and a cardboard in and see how it looks on that rear quarter and if it’s pretty close then I’ll start looking for a fender that I can cut up. Doesn’t seem like anybody has anything as far as partials or anything like that in the current situation with three pops not looking promising either. I’m certainly not paying $1100 for some partial quarter that’s on eBay though

This is a template off of my front passenger side fender, as you can see most of the wheel well swoop is fairly identical until you get to the rear of the quarter then it slopes more on the rear quarter than the fender does. So yeah I guess you could use one if you manipulate that curve somewhere it might be my only option right now.

The guy who originally told me about that was a 1970 owner. I also confirmed it through another 68-69 guy. Maybe he was thinking of common rust issues towards the top of the arch?

I got a passenger front fender I will see how that works..Garner Restorations here in town had a used fender they hooked me up with. I think it will work fairly well..once I get it stripped down and see how far the rust goes I will be able to see how the fender works..its very close match on the actual wheel lip.
