If it matters, the 67 hinges are actually different than the 66. Aside from the seat release mechanism which is on the inner hinge for a 67 recliner not the outer hinge, the 67 up seat also has a metal bar that connects the two hinges together. 66 does not have the metal bar going across the seat and both hinges are cast, not stamped steel. Here are some pics of a 67 set I sold in 2018 for $1000 picked up. I still have a 66 set with headrests, and possibly two single 67 passenger seats (one might be 68-70) along with a 66 mechanism (seat back with hinges, cylinder, handle, and cable).
I would probably want $600 for a single seat plus shipping. I would have to think about a price for the mechanism alone.
Thank you for the education...I did not know the difference between between 66-67 Cutlass bucket seat other than the locking mechanism. Yes, I would be interested in the 67 passenger reclining seat. Any chance you could send me a couple of pictures. Thank you, Scott
I finally dug one of the seats out of my shed. This is the only single 67 that I have. The seat back lock mechanism is there and working. The reclining mechanism works smoothly. The frames are solid with surface surface rust (heavy in some areas). I did not inspect the springs so they might need transferred from your current seat along with covers etc. I realize it looks a little rough but it is complete, working, and solid.
I would do $500.00 plus shipping, but I really do not want to go less because I can use it to make one of my other (regular) sets a reclining set worth double that. Not sure what shipping will be, but if you are still interested, I will look into it.
