55 Holiday Backup Light cover?

I'm wondering if anyone has a very oddball part. I have a basic Holiday. No options whatsoever. No backup lights. There is a stainless cover over where the backup lights should be. One is damaged slightly. It would be easier if I found a replacement. Might anyone have one of these from a parts car they would be willing to part with? I have no idea how rare the basic cars are.

Checkout a company called Tail Light King they have a lot of unusual taillight assemblies, reverse lights and lenses.

Moderator, please move this back to the vintage section. This is only a couple of years. No one other than the 54-56 crowd will even be interested.

Drop me a line direct at dead@mchsi.com, I might have one in inventory but could use dimensions.

John (2blu442) might have one of these. He has parted out a 54 and a 55 I believe. I am going to guess they had backup lights though since I know one of them had power steering which means it was probably loaded. Good luck.

If you can't find an OE part off of a salvage car then you could use the stainless steel cover you have to fabricate a tail light using Alumilite:

Frank,

Outstanding!! You beat me to it, I just hadn't gotten around to looking on eBay. It was the correct part, and I got it. This is what's great about this web site. No way 20 years ago could I ever find a part like this. Excellent.

deadds, and Red, thanks also.
