Arrow WANTED: 1970 Trunk Lid

Looking for an original 1970 trunk lid. Mine has been replaced and isn't the "correct" stamping on the underside. Please let me know what you have.

Thanks

Flat design; not the circular stamping. Below is a pic of the underside that I am looking for.

What is the build date of your car? There are actually 3 types. Early 70 late 70 and 71-72. From all the original 70 cars that I have documented the change over in late May/early June. I am sure there could be a couple weeks that could have either.

03/02/70. This is the trunk on there now. The owner replaced it when he has the car painted in the late 70’s.

I have a 1970 Olds cutlass 4dr. trunk lid that has the "cutout's" you have photographed. It is complete with the chrome moldings, lock/key set, and latch. It is from a Colorado car and has been stored in my garage for many years. You can call me 720-436-9405.

I believe he is looking for one with no cutouts. He has the cut outs now. 70 had no cut outs supposedly besides late in production maybe?

The 4 door and convertible trunk lid is the same. I do not believe the convertible trunk lid was ever made flat on the bottom. At least I have yet to see one.
