Question Parts Wanted 67 Cutlass trunk torsion rod

I am in search of a trunk torsion bar for my 1967 olds cutlass.....The original one snapped. I have looked everywhere....Any suggestions....

There should be two torsion bars. Can you post pictures/measurements of the one that broke? There's several members here with 1967 Cutlass parts. I think someone here can help you, but they'll need to know which one you need.

Wouldn't a torsion bar from any GM A body 1966 or 67 work as long as it is for the same body style?

The bar is 46" long and broke on the drivers side I believe

Does anyone have one of these I can buy? Or suggestions as to how it can be properly repaired....Ive tried junk yards etc to no avail....Thanks

I'll look to see if I can come up with one. Over the years I've dismantled a couple 1966 & 67 Cutlass's. John

I'm still looking for a used set. But if you can get a new set they would likely last longer than ones that have been under pressure for decades. Please let us know what you come up with on new.

I can also check I have 8 66-67 parts cars but these sell fast and not sure I have any left
