Wanted: 1968 442 Radiator Overflow

I’m looking for a 1968 442 Radiator Overflow can/container.

68 didn't have one. A lot of people put the later 71? on but those repro's are a lot of $$$.

I saw one for $299 and thought that’s crazy. So it. Wasn’t needed.

I adapted a $20 dorman universal unit to my 72, works the same as the $299 one!

There was no requirement for one back in the day. If you don't overfill the radiator all the coolant will stay in there. There should be about 2" of head space noted by a fill line just above the transmission cooling line on the rear of the radiator.
