A long shot, but for my 71 SX convertible needing a new trunk lid, I also require only three of the OLDSMOBILE letters across the back. Years ago I bought all the NOS letters I could acquire at the time. I am missing the second O, the I and the second L. (OIL) I know you can buy repros of these, but this may be a chance to use up these long held letters.
Anybody have any of these loose letters in very good shape with no pits?
The Os and Ls do not interchange as the posts are placed in different locations. Yeah GM. The casting letters for these three are
8800945, 8800947 and 8800948.

Brian, not sure if these are good enough for your car. But does this look like the correct Supreme deck lid & letters? If so, I'll try to remove them in the next few days and get some closeup photos for you. John

 

Those are correct for sure. Hopefully the chrome isn't too sunkissed or pitted.
