Radiator or radiator tank for manual transmission

I need a radiator/radiator parts for my 1973 V-code Supreme.

The radiator I have is good, (3 core, no HD cooling or A/C), but it was a replacement years ago, and has a tranny cooler in the pass side tank.

I am looking for the correct, non cooler radiator or at least the pass side tank without cooler line fittings.

The original tag was ZR. I think some earlier W30 manual cars might have the same tank.

What is out there???

You are going to have a tough time finding that correct radiator. I may have non transmission line tanks. By the 70's most tanks had transmission line fittings, they just used plugs. It is not likely that the passenger side tank on your car came without fittings.

Not sure if a 73 stick car came with a non cooler radiator but OPGI sells stock looking radiators with or without coolers. Not sure if 73 is the same as a 72 which they do have.

There are a couple sources for new radiators without tranny cooler connections.
I don't know the correct tank stamping for this application, and it is not necessary to have the correct one. But I do want a tank without fittings.
Some references show that a 72 W30 had the same radiator.

Any body got a rotten radiator with a good tank?

Still trying to find a radiator or at the very least, a tank without tranny cooler fittings.

3 core, non HD cooling or A/C

I have a 4 core without transmission cooler fittings. I should have a 3 core also some where. Give me a little time to dig.

That looks like what I need. What are the dimensions of the tank with the radiator cap? (Where it attaches to the cores)

Price??

The radiator is the standard size for all Olds "A" body's. I believe it is 28 3/8 in length. I will have to measure the width.
The rad will probably need to be re-cored. The width of the tanks for the support cradles will be the same for your 73 model year. The length of the rad may be different but the point is mute if the rad is re-cored.
I am wanting $150 plus shipping.
Thanks.

Way to go. Rocket Devo is known to have “a few” parts hidden away. He’s a good source for hard to find Olds stuff. Al
