Looking to buy "S" emblem off a 1971 Cutlass S Rock shield

 

Are the 72's the same? If so, I have one.

Hate to barge in...but what do you guys use to put emblems back on? I'm asking bc I have 69' Cutlass S and the driver side fender Emblem came off and I need to out it back on.

 

Anyone have any leads on this Emblem. ??

 

I have the complete shield with "S" if interested. Shield is blue in color. Might make a deal on just the "S".

The GM number is 231200 for the "S" emblem on the stone shield.

 

For reference, I think this is what you're looking for. This one isn't for sale, sorry, but seems to be the original on my '71 S.

I have a couple others which don't seem to have any paint on the background field but I'm not sure if they're for the nose...I think they may have come off the fenders of a '72 although they don't seem to have a flat back. They also have the suggestion of the rocket extending top and bottom which the one on my '71 doesn't.

 

Yeah looks similar to the original. Each of its ends looks broken off.

 

Yeah, looking at it closer the one on my car has been broken. It took a few bangs to the front end over they years.
