Today I picked up some Cutlass Supreme metal grills for my '71 SX. Does anyone know where I can locate the 'Cutlass Supreme' script emblem for the left grill? I saw the Parts Place carries them, but haven't dealt with them yet.

 

I looked in Fusick catalogue and they didn't show an emblem for '71 Supreme grilles, maybe because they don't make the grille itself for '71. I think you mean the word "Oldsmobile" for the grille. I have never seen "Cutlass Supreme" on any grille before. I'm not sure what a '71 Supreme grille looks like, but I would think it would use the same emblem from '70, or maybe even '72. Post a picture of your grille where the emblem mounts, along with dimensions between mounting holes. There are plenty of "Oldsmobile" scripts out there in good shape, Ebay or parts forum on this site. Chumley

I got a new one from the Parts place and it fit OK.

 

Mine currently have the plastic Cutlass 'S' grills with the Oldsmobile script on the left grill. Along with the left fender, I believe they were replaced at some point and not original to the car. The Cutlass Supreme grills are metal and have vertical fins. The Cutlass Supreme emblem attaches with 4 posts on the left grill. I have dealt with The Parts Place & they are fine to deal with.
