Wtb: PS pump mounting brackets

I need brackets to bolt a power steering pump to my 65 Olds 225 V6. Apparently other model donors might include Buick 225, 231, 300, 340, and 350 up to early 70's. The 225 v6 was also in some Jeep CJ5 and CJ6 65-71. There are two or possibly three brackets needed? Bolts would be nice too but not necessary.

Bigmoe, My recall is that the pumps changed after 68' ??? I think you'll need matching pump and brackets i.e., all early components or all later.

Anybody?

The Saginaw pumps are all the same and have the same mounting points. The only substantial difference is the sheet metal reservoir, which can be swapped easily. Heck, my 1999 truck has the same pump. I do not know if Buick moved the PS pump location over the years the was Olds did, however.

I suggest some research on Google Images. I did a quick search. This first photo is a 65 Skylark with V6. Note the pump location and bracket.

This is a 1966 with the 300. Similar location but different bracket.

And this is a 67 Skylark with 300. Appears to be yet another bracket design but similar location.

I

Your biggest problem is likely getting pulleys that line up with whatever bracket you end up with.

I'd prefer whatever the original brackets were as optioned in 65 but I'd settle for something close that I could modify if needed.

I've got this one from a '65 225 V6. Both front and rear brackets and the pump w/pulley. Pump spins but don't know functioning condition. Front aluminum bracket has small triangular piece broken out of it, looks like it was functioning on the car just fine that way based on the filth caked on it. Side of reservoir can has a dent, probably from someone prying against it to tighten the belt. $90 for all of it plus the shipping.

I've got all the parts ordered but the only thing holding me up is the car has a single groove main pulley. Need a double. Mine is about 5 3/4" diameter and 2" deep.
