WTB: Misc. Parts fo 71 W30 Restoration

Hello all,

I think the following list is a good list to start with as far as parts I'm looking for for this restoration. Please PM me if you have anything I'm looking for.

- Red fender wells, the pair.
- Master cylinder with ST stamped on it.
- Spoiler
- Inspection cover for bell housing manual shift.
- Shifter for bench seat car.
- Clutch and brake pedal assembly including plate at firewall and rod to clutch fork.
- NOS Rt Rear Quarter Panel or good rust free piece.

I am also looking for interior, like everything, but I'm hoping to find a donor car, but that's another thread I started.

I'm sure there will be other parts needed, but that should get me started. I will add to the list as this are needed. The problem I face is that this car was disassembled in the late 80's and a lot of the parts where not there when I bought this project.

Thanks to all!!

John

More parts needed added to list.

I know a NOS rt rear quarter is probably impossible, but one can only hope!

Thanks,

John

What transmission do you have? I may have the driveshaft or at least the yoke. Thanks, Bob.

Yoke

HI JOHN

http://www.thegearbox.org/transmissionyoke.html

I purchased the yoke for my 72 with 4 speed from these folks. Price was about half what people in town wanted.

The trans is the Muncie M22. Thanks Brian, I'll check out the gear box. If I'm not mistaken it's the same yoke as the Turbo 400.

Hi John

The 71 Muncie does have the same size output shaft as TH400 and same spline count. There are a few different length yokes though.

I would measure mine for you BUT I have a 12 bolt Chev axle. Length of the drive shaft and possibly the yoke too would differ if you have the factory 8.5 10 bolt cover axle....

I have a SWEET original drive line from a 71 442 4 speed car .... wide ratio it was ....
it has a beautifuul yoke also
77000 mile garaged car ........
no dents and original u joints still ,,, I think on that one you can still see the stripes....

also the original EB master cylinder and matching calipers and original rotors... and upper and lower control arms in front w good tall upper ball joints

@Scott - I would be interested in the driveshaft, but you are in Washington state. I'm afraid shipping would be too expensive. Same with control arms.

I hear yah .........

about 50.00 to ship the driveshaft
about 65 for the control arms

quality and correct parts for quality and correct cars

either gas and time
or
pay for shipping
it happens to all of us ..................not much local around here for 68 69 GTO parts around me that I need either

a little cheaper shipping to a business address

I tried to pm you for your email but no response so maybe you will see it here? Couple sets of kick panels various condition one black and other saddle. I've come to realize these are pretty hard to find in any color intact. The driveshaft is 50 yrs old but may be what you need.

Hi Scrappie,

My apologies for not replying yesterday, I've been out sick. The stomach bug is going around and I was in no condition yesterday to do anything. I sent my email address to you.

Is your car a post coupe? Makes a difference for the kick panels. Cant tell from the picture.
