Looking to buy a bumper jack for my 65 oldsmobile starfire.
anybody have an extra one ?
also can someone post a picture of one so I can see what it looks like.
found one for a 1963 oldsmobile starfire.
will that fit ?

 

The jack and spare tire was missing from my 61. I looked at cars that were for sale on the web and found some that were showing the trunk with the jack etc. and then I hunted through ebay and found one. I got a spare tire and rim from the junk yard.
I would probably only use it in a dire emergency. Fusick sells the hold down hardware.

But that is such a cool ride!
I often wonder why the full size Impalas get so much love and the full size Olds do not.
Kinda like the poverty caps, I assume this car never came with them.
Ever consider painting the wheels white like they would have IF they did?

Those poverty caps are from a 1970 oldsmobile.
1965 oldsmobile starfire came with spoke hubcaps. I think.
It`s a fun car mostly all original except tires an hubcaps.

Pat, even though the SF rear bumper is different from 88, I doubt it has a SF-specific hook since it also needs to work with the front bumper which is common to all 1965 B&C body cars.

OP, hope you just want this to complete a trunk tools display. I much prefer keeping a small floor jack or scissor jack in the car along with a 15-18" 1/2" drive breaker bar and socket to handle tire emergencies. Sears used to sell the jacks complete with plastic storage case which had room enough for the bar and socket.

 

Dug out a very nice complete unit. Base, shaft, hook with the rubber pad intact, tore iron and trunk hook mounting piece and tire hold down pieces. $225 for everything.
