Summit currently has 6 in stock.

This presumes you still have the factory Type-O rear. Also, pay attention to the note on carrier compatibility:

Special Attention:
Only fits 2.93:1-3.23:1 carrier.

WHICH carrier do you have? The aftermarket gears only fit 3-series carriers (3.08 or 3.23 originally). Factory 3.42 gears only fit 4-series carriers.

FWIW, I bought and installed Richmond R & P sets for many years, without any issues. That being said, the company was sold some years ago and the gears were sourced from India. The first set that I got were JUNK and noisy. Richmond agreed that they were defective and sent me another set were OK. Just my experience with them. Thanks, Bob.

Joe, I have an SF stamped rear with the original 3:23. I’ll have to confirm but I do believe it is a 3-series carrier. Let me know if you think if there will be any issues with the Richmond gears. Thanks

The Richmond gear will be too thick. I installed one last year. You need to have 0.100" removed from the mounting surface. Worked great on mine (I took the 3.91 out) 68 442 O type posi
