I am looking for a 10 bolt posi for a 1971-71 442. If you have one you are looking to part with please email me.

 

Do you want just a posi unit or a whole axle assembly. If the whole thing 71-72 Buick also used the same 8.5 rear. If you want just the posi call Brian Trick and get a new Eaton. 3.42, 3.73 and 4.10 gears from late model GM trucks and SUVs are everywhere cheap. My 3.73's came from a mid 90's Surburban.

 

Also please post what gear ratio your looking for and your location. I'm thinking you were on the East Coast but don't remember for sure. Depending on your location Monzaz or Brian Trick (as Richard said) could hook you up with parts or a complete rear end. Since you have the corporate 8.5 you should have lots to choose from. I recently purchased a complete rear end from a 1974 Chebby off of craigslist with a 3.42 posi unit. I plan to use the internals in one of my Olds housings for a project car. John
