Wtb: 1957 a/c compressor bracket. This is the bracket that bolts directly to the head and intake. Or someone that would loan me one that i can use as a pattern. Or one i could buy - make my own bracket - then sell back so there is no real lose of money or parts. I have a 1957 compressor with the vertical brackets attached thus the need for this one bracket to have a complete setup. Many thanks. Ron

You'll likely have to do a bit of searching to find that one. I suppose the one that once held up your compressor is long gone. The Olds parts book makes me think it is a casting and a one year part. Group 9.171; part 569925. You'll also need the insulators and the spacers, but I suppose those could be fabricated more easily than the casting. (The parts book says the spacers are 3/4" long.) Unfortunately I have no idea where to find one. Perhaps you could try a search via the salvage yards.

There is a 1957 and 1958 evaporator on feebay presently if anyone needs parts or that part of an a/c system.
