WANTED: 1994 Cutlass Supreme front Strut Tower Brace. I believe these were installed on the convertibles but not the hard tops. I'm looking to buy one to install on a 1994 Cutlass Supreme SL hard top to firm up the ride a bit. I've done this to newer Mustangs, Challengers, and even my wife's 2001 Chrysler Sebring convertible and the ride is a lot better with this mod installed.


I note there's nothing available aftermarket that I can find. I'd much rather try & find one out of a convertible as I'm sure it will bolt right in. I'd bet any year from 1992-1997 would fit.

According to GM's available information that brace (part number 10220175) only fits the 93/95 Cutlass Convertible... It is a different part number for 91/92, but it's possible you might be able to adapt it in some manor for it to fit/function...

Thanks, it looks like it would probably fit as the convertibles were off production line car conversions & not on the assembly lines, I'm betting on the strut towers will be the same on all the 93-97 Cutlass Supremes. And (hopefully) it would bolt right on. Since even the SL hard top didn't have any kind of suspension package that would include this brace it's not surprising it's not listed for them. I think it will fit but the trick is going to be finding one.

 

I have saved a bunch of parts for my 1995 Cutlass S convert and can check my stash. My car for sure has a brace between the shock towers. I had to remove it once to replace the plugs in my 3.4 DOHC engine. Let me know your expected price and the city where you live. Regards, trent in Los Angeles, Calif.
