I think I'm describing it correctly. I need the bar that runs from the top of the firewall to the driver side fendor above the battery. Anyone have one or know where I can get it?

Probably too late to help you, but I made a fender support brace for my 56 Super 88 from a piece of 1/2 inch steel electrical conduit (Home Depot $1.94). It's a little thicker than the original brace, but it came out so good, I made another one to match and nobody will know the difference.

The difference is 1/16th of an inch diameter. I'll have to remember to remove mine before I take my car to Pebble Beach next time. I don't want Wayne Carini dissing me.
