I need either a 1954 or 1955 4bbl intake for a 324. I have a 4bbl intake from a 1956 that doesn't fit the 54/55 motors.

I'll buy a stock 4bbl intake straight out, or if someone needs to swap years, I'll swap the 56 I have for a 54/55.

I can't afford any fancy aftermarket intakes...too rich for my blood.

Too bad you can't afford aftermarket desirable intakes. I have a four deuce Horne for sale. Very hard to find intake and only around 25 ever made by Jot Horne. Your current intake should fit the 54/55 engines. Are you sure it is for a 303/324 and not for a 57 371?

I forgot I had this thread. The intake I have is from a 53. I was able to find a 4bb intake for my 55 just a few days ago. Sorry for not getting to this thread sooner. Thanks for your response.
