looking for tilt & telescopic steering column for 1972 Olds 442 cutlass .

 

Keep looking that must be a rare item. I would like to see one myself. The big cars have some.

 

I don't think any A-Bodies came with telescoping. Do you need for a column shift or a floor shift?

 

was automatic column shift, converted to floor shift & now manual floor shift,tremmic 5 speed. tilt would probably be easier to find ,but I know their still hard to find.

 

A body cars (ie, the 442) did not get a telescoping column in those years. Tilt, yes. Telescoping, no. I grabbed a tilt/tele column out of a 70 Toronado in a junkyard some 11 years back to use someday in something.
