Never seen Type O gear sets in this ratio and 99.9% sure that they do not exist.

 

2.73:1 is pretty close though
I had a posi with that gearset, 68-9 issue I think, type O ?

You might need to specify the year of issue to get the right gearset.

 

I believe 2.56, 2.78, and 3.08 are the only gears the O type 12 bolt had that is close to what you are asking for. The 8.5 10 bolt has the 2.93 or something close to that. That is what the code was on the inside trunk tag of my 84 Caprice 2 door that originally was a diesel. It is an 8.5 rear and also has the G80 posi code as well.

GU3 RPO code: 2.93 8.5 10 bolt. Looked it up again to make sure.

 

I have one out of a 69 cutlass that's a 256 non posi drum to drum in Dayton ohio 175.00

 

Also found this ratio in 69 service manual for big cars only.
